Help Us Feed Elders in Our Community

Every Friday night, Sandra and I prepare and deliver hot, home-cooked dinners to elders in our community. Many of them live alone, have limited mobility, or simply need a reminder that they are loved and not forgotten.

What started as a small effort to care for a few has grown β€” and the need is greater than ever.

At Whidbey Media, we also believe in using our platform not just to entertain and inform but also to make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve. Our Philanthropy Initiative is dedicated to supporting causes that align with our core valuesβ€”faith, education, youth development, and a Christian World view.

Through donations, awareness campaigns, and direct community involvement, we strive to give back in ways that have a lasting impact. Our initiatives focus on:

βœ… Supporting Youth & Education – We look to offer small scholarships to students pursuing education in biblical and religious studies, and to those in other disciplines attending selected Christian colleges and universities.
βœ… Faith & Family Outreach – Strengthening marriages, families, and faith communities through uplifting content and support.
βœ… Feeding the Hungry – All donations are directed towards feeding the hungy elders in our community.

  • Volunteer to help prepare, package, or deliver meals.
  • Sponsor a Meal β€” $10 feeds one elder a full dinner.
  • Share our mission with others who may want to help!

Matthew 25:35-40 (NIV)

β€œFor I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in… Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
